 Day 02 CHINA Beijing                      Saturday

Beijing today is extraordinarily rich in historical sites and cultural relics. After clearing government formalities, a CIAC representative will greet and escort you to Jianguo Garden Hotel or similar.

 Day 03 Beijing                                     Sunday   (B/L/D)
Tour the Tian’anmen Square, the biggest public square in the world. Visit the Forbidden City. After lunch, tour the Summer Palace. Indulge in a succulent Beijing Duck dinner.

 Day 04 Beijing                                    Monday  (B/L)
Morning tour to the Great Wall. Continue to the Ming Tombs, the once-lavish burial chambers of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Dinner per your own arrangement.

 Day 05 Beijing /Xian                          Tuesday (B/L)
Morning ride on a rickshaw though the Hutong. After our special lunch in a local family home, fly to Xian. Check in Grand New World Hotel or similar.

 Day 06 Xi’an                                   Wednesday (B/L/D)
Morning tour to see the Terracotta Warriors. Continue to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the City Wall. Have sumptuous dumpling dinner, and enjoy a traditional Tang Dynasty show after dinner.

 Day 07 Xi’an/Hangzhou                    Thursday (B/L)
Fly to Hangzhou in the morning. Tour to Six Harmony Pagoda, and West Lake. Visit a Longjing Tea Plantation. Dinner per your own arrangement. Overnight at Lakeview Hotel or similar.

 Day 08 Hangzhou/Suzhou                 Friday (B/L/D)

Drive to Suzhou. Visit the Garden of the Humble Administrator, Embroidery Institute, boat ride on 1000 year old canals. Enjoy a gala at the Garden of the Master of the Fishing Nets including a special performance of native classical music and dance. Stay at Jasmine Holiday Inn or similar.

 Day 09 Suzhou-Tongli-Shanghai          Saturday (B/L)
Drive to Shanghai via Tongli, a small water town boasting a picturesque collection of ancient bridges.  Dinner per your own arrangement. Overnight at Holiday Inn Downtown or similar.

 Day 10 Shanghai                                 Sunday (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the Bund, then to the Old Town and to the elegant and tranquil Yu Garden. Afternoon visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Enjoy amazing Shanghai Acrobats after farewell dinner.

 Day 11 Shanghai/HOME  Monday (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
